New Mesh Booties: Devi

Today we released the Devi Booties!
These mesh booties come in 11 colors and in the standard sizes. There is an additional pair included that isn't rigged and can be resized.
The Devi booties can be found at our temporary mesh location: the left side of the main building (where the maitreya footwear used to be located).

Seven New Maitreya Mesh Pieces

We are happy to announce that we have added more fashionable pieces to our mesh department, this Christmas eve. This big release offers 7 brand new items, for lots of mixing and matching fun and to create some awesome looks!

All of the items come in the Standard Sizes and there are demos available to try everything on.

The elegant Silk Neck-Tie Blouse is a slim cut top that comes in 12 colors. It was initially created with the Anais pencil skirts in mind, but by adding the optional belted bottom part, this blouse became a must-have and very versatile wardrobe piece.

The Cul-de-Sac dress is available in 12 (striped) colors and comes with an optional big tie in front. You'll find that this dress can be worn in different ways to create very different looks. Worn as a long top on a pair of leather pants will make it a perfect piece to dress up in glam-rock style. Combined with a tights and long boots will give it a very cute girly look.

The Ava Jacket is available in 5 soft, neutral colors as well as 4 bright and bold colors. With its puffy sleeves it is one of those pieces that makes us really happy with the option of mesh creation in sl!

This also goes for the Athena Sweater. With it's draped scoop back this sweater will give sexy to your every day casual look. It comes in striped prints and 12 colors.

The Anais Skirt is a high waisted pencil skirt, with a thin leather belt. Picking up on this seasons trend, it wears just below the knee. It comes in a polka-dot and in a 'miu miu-ish' bird print. Both print options are available in 6 colors.

The Leather Leggings are skinny leather pants, that come in 7 colors. We are finally able to have realistic and femininely shaped legs and be warned, for you might never want to go back to system pants ;)

Last but not least, are the Alexa Wedges! In the past we often received requests for more fresh and bright colors for our footwear. These wedged booties are the perfect basics that look great in so many colors. There are 24 colors to choose from, and they are also available in 6 color packs with 4 colors each!

All items have fatback options that will save you 40 to 50% and sometimes even more! The pieces of this new release are packed in vendors that also have a gift option when you right click them. The previously released Maitreya Mesh items don't have this gift option yet, but they are available on marketplace if you would like to gift them to your loved ones.

Please note that Maitreya is still under construction and until the new store is finished you will be able to find all Maitreya Mesh in the previous Maitreya footwear department.

Maitreya Mesh - Nolita Dress & Leather Satchel

Continuing with our mesh releases, our next installment adds two items to our mesh collection.

The Nolita dress is chic and elegant and can be styled with sophistication or with a more casual look. It's available in 8 plain colors as well as in 4 other textures that are inspired by the colorblock trend.

The leather satchel can be worn on your hand, forearm or shoulder. There is a version included for each attachment spot. The bags are all non-rigged and modifiable. There is an additional rigged version included to be worn on the shoulder.

Free demos are available for all the mesh items in all sizes and versions.

Last week we had a "by popular demand" release. New takes and variations on some of our popular Maitreya Gold creations from the past.

The Maitreya Gold Moxie wedges have been revamped with a new sole option, in 3 colors and comes with toes now.

Salience in two previously unreleased colors, with tights and socks instead of toes. We have released these Special Edition Salience at this years shoe fair and they are now finally available at the main store

YaXkin is the flat sandal version of IXkin (one of the very first Maitreya Gold creations we released).

We have received many requests over the last 2 years to release the bare feet without shoes (thanks to everyone for showing this interest!) We really hope we have lived up to the expectation and are very excited to finally be able to offer bare feet in 2 versions. There is a flat feet version and a tip-toe version available.

Three new hairstyles today!

We have released 3 new hairstyles and introduced 10 new hair colors!

We received some requests for dark blonds and light browns. That is why we reorganized the hair packs a bit and added some new shades. The following information may sound confusing :) Ofcourse there are demos of the new hair colors and this color chart will also clear things up, hopefully

* The Blacks and the Reds packs are the same as they were before
* Almond and Caramel are now part of the 'Browns Light' pack, and there are 3 new shades of light brown added to that pack.
* Beach Blond has moved from the peroxides pack to the 'Blonds Light' pack. We have also added a new shade to this pack.
* As a replacement for 'Beach Blond', we brought back 'Peroxide Blond' In the Peroxides Pack.
* Gold Blond and Ash Blond are now part of the 'Blond Darks' pack, together with 3 new shades of dark blond
* The 'Browns Dark' pack is the old 'Browns' pack, except that Caramel has been replaced by a new shade.
* The 'Reddish Browns' pack is the old 'Nuts Pack', except that Almond has been replaced by a new shade.
* From now on some of the light hair colors will have subtly darker roots for certain hair styles.

We hope to update the older hairstyles with the new hair colors soon!

A NEW Maitreya Gold release: 'Foxy'

There are 22 colors to choose from: 14 solid colors and another 8 color combinations.
The fatpack has an extra feature in it's 'all-in-one' pair: the bottom parts (heel, sole and toestrap) and the top parts (satin ribbons) can be colored separately. Allowing for infinite color combinations to fit your every look!

For the 'Call for Couture' charity event we created a special edition of Foxy, that will be up for auction. 50% of the proceeds will go to 'The Samaritans' (Reg charity number: 219432). The Call for Couture event runs from the 10th of October to the 31st of October.

New skirts, short trench jackets and summery tops in tons of colors!!

The Short Trench Jackets are available in 12 colors. The sleeves, collar and bottom part can all be resized by a deletable script and they are also copy/mod.

The Viento (wind) skirts are sculpted like they are moved by a soft summer breeze. There are 10 colors in satin and another 8 colors of a patterned fabric to choose from.
Included are 2 versions of the skirt, one with and one without the belt attached to it. The belt is color-change scripted and there is a separate belt included aswell. The satin skirts come with a matching satin belt (scripted with all 10 colors) and the pattern fabric skirts come with a leatherbelt in 8 colors.

Today we release 'Siri', the classy chignon hair style that was featured in the spring campaign pictures.

The second style is 'Sasha'. We had it as a special Haiti Fundraising pre-release offer a few months ago in bistre and ash. It is out today in all colors.

We created two new haircolors: 'scandinavian blond' and 'powder', that replaced 'sandy blond' from the blonds pack and 'peroxide blond' from the peroxides pack. We hope you'll like them. Demos are available in all colors, as usual.

Haiti Red Cross Fundraising

To help raise money for the Red Cross International Response Fund we have set up a special pre-release of our Sasha hair with colour-scripted hat. This pre-release is in ash blond and in bistre black and they are only 50L each. All proceeds will go the Red Cross Haiti Fund!

Releases for men and women!

These oversized circle scarves for men and women come in two designs and textures. One has a very soft texture, it drapes over the schoulders and folds gently around the body. The second, a more rugged knit, wears somewhat higher in the neck.
Both have a male and female version included and the fatpacks have an extra 'all-in-one' edition that is scripted for colour change.

Another unisex release to complete your winter look are the beanies in knit and in striped wool textures. There is again a male and female version included and the fatpacks also have the colour scripted extra. The beanie can either be worn on the skull without hair, or it can be worn to compliment your hairstyles.

Both scarves and beanie have (the usual) Copy/Modify/No Transfer permissions. There are demos available and they are located at the clothes & accessories department, near the hall and next to the other accessories.

Also released today in all colours is the Ymre II hairstyle. It is another version of Ymre with the hat, but has a messy braid on the back.

We have set up a new themed table, that replaces the 'Golden Oldies' table we had at the clothing section for the last 2 months. For the theme of the new table we collaborated with 'Emery'. Inspired by London's late 70's/early 80's 'Glam Pop' or 'Glam Punk' style, we each picked some items of our previous releases and styled them together. Another line of sculpted boots: Maitreya's SoHo Boots!

These boots look like what you would get if you would push the calf of a boot like Maitreya's Billow boots down. A lower, calf length boot, with deeper folds and slouches.

We've created these boots in 3 different styles and each style has 5 flavours.

The SoHo Boots Leathers Series are done in 2 colours, combined to create some unique shades.

The SoHo Boots Suedes Series contain 5 different neutral tones, in a realistic colour palette. All done in a soft suede with heels made of a black wooden material.

The SoHo Boots Boho Series are a combination of leather foot parts with a few different cloth materials for the calf, some of which have metal heels. The soft and flexibel character of cloth gives these boots a shabby feel. The names of the 5 different flavours in this series are all variations of the well known boho-chic look that style-icons like Kate moss, Sienna Miller and the Olson twins are known for.

The little metal buckle on the elastic has the word 'Maitreya' inscripted in Pali (an ancient Eastern language where the word Maitreya was originated)

The new SoHo boots are located near the entrance and on the 1st floor of the shoes department. There is a free demo containing all colours. Due to this boots easy fit, it's a one size fits all.. but there is an extra resizable pair included too.

Maitreya Isle is open to the public again with a new and more spacious build as well as some new releases. We hope you enjoy the new build as well as the new items in our store.

Today's releases includes some great new accessories, patched leather caps in 8 warm colours. And our sculpted 'old leather' belts are also finally released in some beautiful muted and faded colours.

You could say these sandals are the day-time-summer-sandal-version of Frenzy :) This sandal has a very high banana heel, as often seen on the runways this spring and summer in Europe. We've released some very sexy and yet fashionable sculpted heels, named 'Frenzy'. These slingback peeptoe heels come in 12 yummy colours of soft wrinkled leather and 12 additional pairs that have special colour and material combinations. Some of which have patent straps and heels, some are made of a basic leather combined with black wooden heels and soles..... options options options... The free demo contains all the flavours, so make sure you take a close look at every pair :)

The separate pairs are 400L and there are 4 fatpacks, each containing 6 pairs for 1500 L (Which saves you almost 40%).The heels are no mod/copy/no transfer, BUT they are resizable! (the resizable pairs are added to the folders, so that people that are fine with shoesize 0 don't have to wear the shoes with scripts in them)

Update Group transition

There has been a lot of confusion about our Maitreya Update Group today. We've received many IM's from group members thinking they got kicked out of the group over something they did wrong. You've done nothing wrong, we're simply utilizing a simpler way to get updates to you without spam. If you were a member of the old Maitreya Update group, you have automatically been added to the new Subscribe-o-Matic Maitreya update group. We did announce this transition a few days ago, but apparently those messages were overlooked or perhaps never came through for many people.
We have already sent our first notice in the new group, earlier today, with a little gift: a sculpted leather belt.
If you didn't notice this gift/message you can still get it by touching the subscribe sign we have at the store and choosing 'history' from the menu. You'll always find all previously sent notices there. We are so sorry for the confusion ♥

We have added two hairstyles to the hair collection: Amy and Mica 2008. Mica 2008 is the retextured, but also revamped version of the older Mica style. And Amy is a new style that derived from it after adding bangs and playing around with it a little bit.

We have released a bunch of male and female modelposes These were created over the last 3 to 4 months, and in most cases used for our own ads and campaign pictures.
There is a male and a female modelposes set, each containing 16 high fashion poses. And there is a pack of 12 editorial female sitposes. All poses are for sale as separates too.

MISHIMA DAWN

Named after a rare orchid: Mishima Dawn, our latest sculpted ankle boots. The initial idea was to make a revamped version of the limelight ankle boots. But one thing led to another and the outcome was a complete new design, which of course deserved a bunch of new textures too. Instead of making tons of colours, we decided to create a few different materials for these ankle boots. The result is a total of 25 flavours to choose from. There are the basic leathers with suede tops, that come in 7 colours. A variation on these are the 7 'ruff leathers', with a sparkly kind of rougher leather top. Last but not least is the series of patent and highly shiny leathers, in different combinations.
The (free) demo at our mainstore contains all colours and materials, so take your time to examine them all and see which one(s) work best for you. Of course there are also fatpacks available: a leathers pack of 7, a ruff leathers pack of 7 and a patents & shines pack of 11.

They are finally out: the ChiChi pumps in Velvets! There are 8 colours (Cherry blossom, Cerise, Lavender blush, Green, Amethyst, Black, Brown and Golden) and ofcourse a fatpack option. The trims for the velvet ChiChis are scripted for 21 colour options. The shoes are also for sale on OnRez if you want to give them to someone or if you just feel like lagfree shopping.

I've also layed a final hand to the sculpted slouch socks. These socks were shown on the Slinky stilettos poster and many people asked about them since. I wanted to make some adjustments before releasing them and well... I can be rather slow with these things. But they have improved and they are out now in 19 colours!

We wanted to do something nice for members of the maitreya update group, and decided to introduce ramdom gifts on release days. From now on we will pick 3 names of groupmembers every time we have a new release and send the winners a gift. We started with this today and the winners have received a fatpack of the ChiChi pumps in velvets, congratulations!!

'Verve'
They're out at last! We've been sitting on them for weeks, but we really wanted to redesign our shoe department before releasing them. It's a round toe, platformed stiletto pump in soft suede textures. The shape derived from the ChiChi pumps, but with Verve we tried to make more of a basic pump. It was something we wanted to make for a long time already: a round toed suede pump, because you don't find a lot of them in sl (I think). They come with a tan and a black coloured sole.

We also released 9 new bright colours of the slinky stilettos, in patent leather.

So 9 warm coloured soft suede platform pumps 'Verve', 9 new vibrant colours for the slinky stilettos and an all new look for the store, yay!!

Slinky Stilettos in Patent Leather

We have updated the slinky stilettos in it's shape and it's textures. The nose of the stiletto is now a little flatter, so that the long pointy shape of the nose would get more pronounced. The idea for these pumps was to create a basic, classy yet sexy stiletto that every girl just needs to have in her wardrobe. These stiletto pumps will be perfect to wear with those beautiful gowns and classic dresses you can find in sl, but they would also top a 80's kinda rockchic look. Anyway, I hope they can be inspiring and an addition to your wardrobe :)

They come in 9 patent leather colours and 3 different sole versions for the patent black, so a total of 12 flavours to choose from. Every colour has a version with and a version without steel included, as also an extra right foot with walking sounds (extra so you can easily get rid of it if you don't like the sound huds in shoes)
